TriNova is looking for an energetic and personable candidate who is a self-motivated and well-organized professional to join our team as an Application Engineer.

Summary

    • Provides in-depth product and application knowledge for TriNova and customers; specifically providing inside sales support for account managers. Duties to include reviewing of specifications, verifying model codes, quoting, ordering, expediting and communicating with the customer and sales force.

PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Review all types of applications that consist of but not limited to: sizing valves, choosing instruments, sizing gamma, sizing flowmeters and creating electrical & PID drawings for various types of field instrument panels.
      • Review specifications and provide model codes for products.
      • Perform CAD drawings of best practice installation and wiring
      • Communicate with the customer, outside salespeople, manufacturers and the Area Vice President.
      • Understand commercial issues and terms.
      • Field visits with account managers for relationship development, training and as required to optimize the order process and achieve customer satisfaction
      • Improve product and technical knowledge.
      • Troubleshooting of basic device issues.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
      • Minor in Sales Engineering is a plus

    Summary

      • Perform administrative and sales support for the outside sales force and customers. Duties to include reviewing of specifications, verifying model codes per specs, quoting, ordering, expediting and communicating with the customer and sales force.

      Summary

        • To provide start-up, to supply on-the-job and formal training when requested and when needed, and to provide maintenance for customers.  Ensures customers are comfortable with product training, making sure the product performs and meets their expectations, and also by assisting with trouble-shooting in the field.  This position can also be seen as an extension of a customer’s maintenance group.  Also, if the problem is found not to be our instrumentation, then the person in this position will determine what the problem is. Periodic overnight field service trips are required for equipment commission, training, and troubleshooting.

      PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES

          • Travel to customer’s site to assist in troubleshooting, start-up, and maintenance contract work;
          • Determine possible system faults prior to departing for on-site service calls, in order to determine test equipment and spare parts that may be required;
          • Provide accurate, professional, and timely documentation of service calls;
          • Communicate effectively with customers and principals, as well as with Trinova Sales, Management, Account Managers and Engineers providing information regarding the nature of problems, course of action to be taken and schedule for completion of work;

Provide Instrumentation and Chemical Feed Solutions to customers, and act as a trusted advisor in applying our products to their application needs.
          • Call on “Decision Maker Customers” within the Industrial Market: Industrial Manufacturing Plants, Chemical Refineries, Food and Beverage Manufacturing Plants, Medical / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plants, Electric Power Utilities, Industrial Engineering Firms, Skid Builders, Equipment Manufacturers, and Instrumentation System Integrators. Provide Instrumentation and Chemical Feed Solutions to customers, and act as a trusted advisor in applying our products to their application needs.
          • Review specifications, application requirements, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates, and benefits, for the client’s use of proposed equipment or services.
